Aquatics Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the maintenance field; 4+ years in a theme park or industrial environment is preferred.
• High School Graduate / ALS Certified / Diploma in any mechanical Course or equivalent is an advantage
• Physically fit to meet the demands of the role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings, schematic diagrams, and hydraulic diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for rides and attractions.
• Basic English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Expertise in at least one of the following fields:
  • Electrical
  • Mechanical

Responsibilities:

• To ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of all rides, attractions, and aquatic facilities. Your expertise will help create memorable guest experiences by maintaining and improving the operations of our theme park.
• Perform daily checks, start-up, closing procedures, and preventive/corrective maintenance for rides, attractions, and aquatic equipment.
• Comply with the company’s water quality management policies to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for guests.
• Maintain pool water quality to meet safety standards.
• Prepare rides and attractions for operation according to park schedules.
• Respond promptly to downtime issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.
• Reduce operational downtime by ensuring thorough preventive maintenance per manufacturer requirements.
• Report and communicate issues affecting the safe operation of rides and attractions to Team Leaders.
• Complete and submit preventive maintenance checklists on schedule.
• Perform corrective maintenance to prevent recurring issues.
• Participate in briefings, training, and development programs to enhance personal and professional growth.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
