INSULATOR

Qualifications:

• Male applicants
• Minimum of 2 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Review blueprints and specifications to determine the type and amount of insulation needed
• Measure and cut insulation to fit around pipes and into walls
• Remove asbestos or urea-formaldehyde
• Apply insulation using a variety of methods, such as spraying, blowing, pasting, taping, or strapping
• Secure insulation using staples, tape, or screws
• Remove and dispose of old insulation
• Install vapor barriers
• Apply waterproofing cement over insulating materials to finish surfaces.
