Procurement / Warehouse Manager

Qualifications:

• Must have diploma or degree in marketing or construction
• Must have 5 years’ experience in the related area
• Proven experience in leading and motivating a team.
• A strong focus on safety and compliance: Familiarity with safety procedures and proper maintenance of warehouse equipment.
• Proficient in the use of warehouse management software and systems.
• Additional certifications for the completion of selected high–risk tasks may also be required.
• Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedures and policy, Proficiency with logistics

Responsibilities:

• Assigns duties to workers and monitors their performance
• Interviews, hires, and trains warehouse workers
• Maintains required stock levels
• Keep the information concerning the purchasing dept and its activity strictly confidential.
• Prepares and manages budgets
• Responds to customers questions and complaints
• Review invoices, work orders and data to estimate peak delivery periods
• Schedules and monitors the pickup or delivery of products
• Establish relationship with supply firms overseas and within the country in order to have a ready access to materials when needed
