HVAC TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Candidates must speak and understand English
• Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC systems and components, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Ability to comprehend, interpret, and adhere to business processes
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair air conditioning systems, including ducted systems, split systems, package units, VRV/VRF systems and chilled water FCU’s.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems and make necessary repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance on air conditioning systems to ensure they operate at peak efficiency.
• Keep detailed records of all service calls, including parts used, labour performed, and any additional recommendations or repairs needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and following proper handling and disposal procedures for refrigerants and other hazardous materials
