Quality Control Inspector

Qualifications:

• Trained on the use of Q Pulse (essential)
• Strong written communication skills, particularly in report writing
• Ability to interpret work processes/job histories and make informed decisions
• Self-sufficient after training, with the ability to work independently
• Capable of working with and training apprentices
• Ability to become familiar with products quickly
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 management system standards (essential)
• Experience using measuring equipment (essential)
• Familiarity with pressure/flow measurement (desirable)
• Computer literate (essential)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO9001, AS9100, ISO14001 & OSHAS 18001 standards
• Conduct raw material verification using XRF unit
• Oversee quality control surveillance and records
• Manage non-conforming products and supplier non-conformances
• Inspect certified goods for compliance with orders and certifications
• Maintain calibration systems and ensure accurate records
• Review job packs to meet customer and company requirements
• Provide support to continuous improvement of QHSE systems
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards
