FIRE ALARM TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Male Applicants
• Minimum of 3 years work experience
• Proven experience in trouble shooting, installation, repairs and maintenance and commissioning of Analogue addressable and conventional, automatic fire detection and fire alarm systems.
• Ability to use VOM, oscilloscope, and other logic test equipment.
• Ability to read drawings and identifying all fire detection devices.
• Holder of License from a major fire alarm manufacturer to configure and program devices on the system to level III.

Responsibilities:

• Alarm technicians install and maintain fire and security alarm systems in people’s homes and at businesses.
• They test systems, locate and repair breakages and connection problems, and explain how the systems work to customers.
• Making sure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations.
