Quantity Surveyor

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, specifications, and tendering procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in construction software like AutoCAD and MS Office

Responsibilities:

  • Estimate the costs associated with construction projects.
  • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to determine the materials, labor, and other resources required.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for construction projects. This includes allocating funds for various aspects of the project, such as materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
  • Assist in the tendering process by preparing tender documents, evaluating bids from contractors, and making recommendations to the client.
  • Carry out contract administration, ensuring that all parties involved adhere to the terms and conditions of the contract. This involves assessing and valuing variations, handling claims, and managing payments.

      My most recent project envolvement is located in Philippines, the Malolos-Clark Railway Project (MCRP) Package N-04. It involves the design and implementation of the 6.5-kilometer section which includes an underground section with cut and cover excavation that will provide access for the construction of CIA Station; the main underground railway line; the Gil Puyat Avenue Underpass; and Viaduct Alignment with ACCIONA CORP (Spanish Comp)

      Also, I’ve been part of a 3ML Reservoir and 80MLD Pumping Station Project that supplies water along Antipolo Rizal Philippines with PRIME BMD CORPORATION (Australian Company)

      Moreso, I’ve been part of a , 8-kilometer all-elevated 4-lane expressway Project that connects NLEX from the end of Segment 10 in C3 Road Caloocan City to PUP Sta. Mesa, Manila, and connecting to the Skyway Stage 3 under the management of NLEX Corporation.

      And I have a two years experience in Bataan’s Subic Freeport Expressway which includes an 8-kilometer run, Asphalt Road, Tunnel, Steel Bridge, Concrete Bridge, Concrete Drainage, Slope Protection, and Electrical Works.
