INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 6 years work experience
• Experience Certificate from process and construction company are preferred.
• With knowledge in English Language
• Industrial Trade Training Certificate from recognized institution.
• Should be able to overhaul and repair of plant instruments such as ‘Control Valves, Controllers, Transmitters, etc.
• Read and understand instrument loop drawings and P.I.Ds
• Able to tune field controllers, adjustment P.I.D setting and tune the loop.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and apply the plant safety standards and familiar with plant potential hazardous.
• Experience in trouble shooting combustion control loops, steam boilers/furnaces
• Carryout testing safety critical device systems according to the safety critical procedure.
• Servicing, calibration and troubleshooting Rosemount smart transmitters
• Compressor and turbine control instrumentation
• Emergency shutdown and trip inter lock systems
• Boiler and water treatment plant instrumentation
• Bentley Nevada monitoring systems
• Service, calibration, instrumentation used for fire alarm and flame detector systems
• Service calibration analytical Instrument used for O2, CO, CO2, pH and conductivity meter
• Able to troubleshoot and repair plant instrument problems Pneumatics and Electronics
• Able to perform calibration for all plant equipment according to ISO standard.
