ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as an Electrical Engineer in refinery and industrial companies.
  • Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
  • Must possess a Training Certificate from a recognized institution or TESDA.
  • Must have Experience Certificates from industrial companies.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, power systems, lighting, and industrial electrical installations.
  • Experience in electrical load calculations, material selection, and project cost estimation.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and electrical schematics.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple project priorities.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and review electrical systems, equipment, and installation plans for industrial projects.
  • Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
  • Prepare and review electrical drawings, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.
  • Perform detailed electrical load calculations and cost estimates to determine material and equipment requirements.
  • Ensure electrical designs and installations comply with applicable codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct inspections, troubleshoot electrical issues, and recommend engineering solutions.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other disciplines to ensure timely project completion.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within budget and schedule.
  • Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
  • Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies.
