NMDC Group is seeking skilled and experienced Marine Mechanics to perform maintenance, overhaul, and repair activities on marine engines and vessel equipment for offshore construction and marine operations in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidates will ensure the safe and efficient operation of mechanical systems through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works.

MECHANIC

Qualifications:

• Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Heavy Equipment Maintenance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of marine/offshore mechanical experience.
• Proven experience in maintenance, overhaul, and repair of marine engines and vessel equipment.
• Knowledge and experience with:
  • Heavy equipment
  • Marine machinery
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Diesel engines (CAT, Cummins, Wärtsilä)
  • Pumps
  • Anchor winches
  • Cranes
  • Pipelaying equipment
  • Diesel and electrical compressors
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work safely in offshore and marine environments.
• Physically fit and capable of performing demanding mechanical tasks.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, overhaul, troubleshooting, and repair of marine engines and vessel equipment.
• Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues affecting marine machinery and heavy equipment.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic systems, diesel engines, pumps, and other mechanical components.
• Conduct servicing and repairs of diesel engines, including CAT, Cummins, and Wärtsilä engines.
• Maintain and troubleshoot marine equipment such as anchor winches, cranes, pipelaying equipment, and compressors.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Replace, repair, and adjust mechanical components as required.
• Follow technical manuals, maintenance procedures, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Work closely with supervisors and other team members to support offshore operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the employer.
