PLUMBER
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair works.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, piping networks, drainage systems, valves, fittings, and fixtures.
- Ability to diagnose plumbing issues, identify leaks, and troubleshoot system malfunctions.
- Familiarity with water heaters, heating systems, pumps, and related plumbing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and plumbing codes.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, fixtures, and drainage systems in residential, commercial, and industrial facilities.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems, water supply lines, drainage systems, heating systems, and water heaters.
- Diagnose plumbing issues, locate leaks, identify blockages, and perform effective repairs.
- Install and replace plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, water heaters, and related equipment.
- Test plumbing systems for proper functionality, water pressure, and leak-free operation.
- Clear clogged drains, sewer lines, and piping systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and efficiency of plumbing systems.
- Read and interpret plumbing plans, layouts, and technical drawings to perform installations accurately.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with company standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and serviceable condition.
- Respond to emergency plumbing repairs and maintenance requests as required.
- Prepare maintenance reports and document completed work activities.
