PROCESS ENGINEER
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s / College Degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering fields.
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in wastewater treatment, process engineering, or industrial water systems.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Wastewater treatment processes and plant operations
- Water quality analysis and laboratory parameters
- Process optimization and troubleshooting
- Environmental compliance standards
- Experience in Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) or water treatment facilities is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and optimize wastewater treatment processes, including:
- Preliminary treatment
- Primary treatment
- Secondary biological treatment
- Tertiary treatment systems
- Analyze influent and effluent water quality parameters such as:
- BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand)
- COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand)
- TSS (Total Suspended Solids)
- Nutrients (Nitrogen, Phosphorus)
- pH and other key indicators
- Recommend and implement process adjustments to improve treatment efficiency and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to local and international environmental regulations and discharge standards.
- Support plant startup, commissioning, and operational stabilization activities.
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to optimize plant performance.
- Identify process inefficiencies and propose corrective and improvement measures.
- Prepare technical reports, performance analyses, and operational documentation.
