iPack is hiring a Supervisor responsible for overseeing printing operations in the production department. The role ensures efficient workflow, machine performance, and quality output while supervising operators of offset printing machines and maintaining production standards.
SUPERVISOR
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in offset printing operations or supervision.
- Experience with Heidelberg Speedmaster 102, Komori L440, KBA 105, or KBA 106.5 printing machines is required.
- Strong knowledge of offset printing processes, color management, and machine operations.
- Proven ability to supervise teams and manage production workflows.
- Good problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to maintain quality control under production pressure.
- No minimum educational attainment required.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily printing operations and ensure smooth workflow in the production area.
- Oversee operation of offset printing machines including Heidelberg Speedmaster 102 (4-color), Komori L440 (4-color), and KBA 105 (5-color) or KBA 106.5 with coating.
- Monitor production output, print quality, and machine efficiency.
- Ensure proper machine setup, calibration, and maintenance coordination.
- Assign tasks to machine operators and monitor performance and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with production schedules and delivery deadlines.
- Conduct quality checks to maintain consistency in printing standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance and technical teams for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Enforce safety procedures and proper use of equipment and materials.
- Report production status, issues, and performance metrics to management.
