Rigging Technician
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in rigging, preferably in Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, load calculations, and lifting procedures.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and lifting standards.
- Relevant rigging certification is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Perform rigging, lifting, and positioning of heavy equipment and materials.
- Inspect and maintain rigging equipment such as slings, chains, hooks, and hoists.
- Ensure proper selection and use of rigging gear based on load requirements.
- Communicate effectively with crane operators and team members during lifting operations.
- Follow lifting plans and adhere strictly to safety procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with HES standards.
