Rigging Technician

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in rigging, preferably in Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, load calculations, and lifting procedures.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and lifting standards.
  • Relevant rigging certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform rigging, lifting, and positioning of heavy equipment and materials.
  • Inspect and maintain rigging equipment such as slings, chains, hooks, and hoists.
  • Ensure proper selection and use of rigging gear based on load requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with crane operators and team members during lifting operations.
  • Follow lifting plans and adhere strictly to safety procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with HES standards.
