STEEL FRAMER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Steel Framer.
  • Experience in installation of roofing components, gutters, downpipes, flashings, cladding, and insulation.
  • Knowledge of steel hollow sections (SHS), rectangular hollow sections (RHS), and metal studs for drywall systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret roofing layouts and construction plans.
  • Skilled in operating construction tools and equipment such as grinders, drills, cutters, welders, and elevated platforms.
  • Physically fit and able to work at heights.
  • Must either be exempt from the English language test or have passed an English proficiency test (IELTS or PTE Academic).
  • Effective English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a four-wheeled vehicle.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and erect steel framing structures for walls, ceilings, trusses, and rafters.
  • Install roofing components, cladding, insulation, gutters, and downpipes.
  • Fit and install plumbing components related to roofing and stormwater drainage systems.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and roofing layouts.
  • Operate manual and power tools safely and efficiently during installation and fabrication.
  • Ensure work complies with construction standards and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with construction teams and supervisors to complete projects on schedule.
