Dentist

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine or Doctor of Dental Surgery from any reputable school.
Must have at least 3 years of experience as a practicing dentist
Well-experienced in providing primary care such as administering treatment to patients.
Skill in performing physical exams with strong hand-eye coordination for precise dental work
Ability to interpret medical data and patient records to make informed care decisions
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and high accuracy in recording patient medical records and history.
Capable of setting up and monitoring medical equipment as well as the overall operation and minor necessary maintenance.
Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
With good moral character, honest, trustworthy, hardworking, and diligent in all aspects.
Result-driven and can work with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the overall Dental clinic operations
Develop, implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficiency and consistency.
Perform cleaning, minor surgery procedure such as tooth and molar extractions
Must help to establish proper supplier for the procurement of supplies for the dental clinic.
Promotion of the dental clinic and its services.
Submission of budget needed for processing replenishment of supplies
Preparation of claim forms for submission to Micare (HMO) per patient
Daily turnover of Cash Sales using the Daily Sales form
Preparation of monthly summary of insurance claims for Micare (HMO)
Filling and organizing patients’ medical files, recording of patients’ charts, Job order/Official Receipt, claim forms and preparation of orders
Maintains and files optical records, i.e. patients’ files, charges/insurance claim files and inventory files.
Recording on reports forms workbook and submission of monthly inventory of all supplies in the optical shop on or before 05th of the succeeding month.
Submission of monthly dental sales including cash and charges (A/R) summary on or before 05th of the succeeding month.
Participates in the scheduled general inventory of the clinic.
Reports directly to the operations manager in Pohnpei
Meet regular dental clinic sales target
Capable of multi-tasking including other job that maybe assigned from time to time in relations to medical services

Requirements:

Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
Employment certificates
NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
PEOS certificate
