MOLD OPERATOR
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience as a Mold Operator or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with blow molding, injection molding, or related molding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of molding materials, process controls, and quality standards.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and minor mold repairs.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Physically and mentally capable of performing production tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English, with good communication skills.
- High school diploma or vocational certification; technical training in mold operation is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate molding machines according to production requirements.
- Monitor and control the molding process to ensure consistent quality and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to produce parts accurately.
- Adjust machine settings, molds, and materials to maintain proper operation and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of molds and machines.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve process or equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain records of production, including rejects, regrinds, and machine performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and hygiene standards during operations.
- Collaborate with the production and assembly teams to ensure timely delivery of parts.
