Pipe Fitter

Qualifications:

• At least High School graduate
• A minimum of 2 years experienced in the same field
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Skilled in material handling, cutting, bending, and shaping metal sheets and pipes
• Experience with pipe marking, fitting, and installation
• Knowledge of piping systems and installation sequences
• Experience with pipe pressure testing and quality assurance processes
• Familiarity with tools, machinery, and maintenance procedures
• Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and practices
• Knowledge of quality systems and their application in production
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to perform basic calculations for measurements, areas, and material quantities
• Availability to work in shift work
• Proficiency in English sufficient to understand instructions and communicate with management
• No criminal record certificates for any country lived in for more than six months
• Healthy and able to work effectively in the occupation applied for

Responsibilities:

• Read, interpret, and execute technical drawings independently, ensuring compliance with measurement tolerances, symbols, and work instructions.
• Handle and shape materials using manual hot cutting techniques, including: cutting and forming sheets and pipes, bending and shaping metal sheets
• Understanding the behavior of different materials (steel, stainless steel, acid-resistant metals)
• Perform pipe work and installations, including: marking, fitting, and installing pipes, assembling piping systems according to layout and installation sequence
• Conduct testing and quality assurance, including: pipe pressure testing (hydrostatic testing), ensuring system tightness and compliance with safety requirements
• Operate and maintain tools and machinery safely and effectively
• Follow workplace health and safety practices, including safe handling of hot work and machinery, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Adhere to company quality and operational systems, understanding the impact of individual work on final product quality
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members, understanding responsibilities within the role
• Apply basic calculations in practical work, including measurements, areas, and quantity estimations

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
