RIGGER

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Certified Rigger Level II or III (depending on scope of work)
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in rigging or related field
• Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or similar fields
• Skilled in lifting operations, hand signals, and load calculations
• Familiar with crane safety and lifting plans
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding industrial environments

Responsibilities:

• Perform rigging operations for lifting, moving, and positioning heavy equipment and materials
• Read and interpret lifting plans, load charts, and technical drawings
• Calculate load weights and determine proper rigging methods and equipment
• Attach, secure, and balance loads using slings, shackles, spreader bars, and other rigging tools
• Signal and guide crane operators during lifting operations using standard hand signals
• Inspect rigging equipment before use and report any defects or safety issues
• Ensure compliance with lifting safety procedures and site regulations
• Coordinate with crane operators, supervisors, and safety teams to execute lifts safely
• Assist in preparing lifting plans and risk assessments as needed
• Maintain accurate records of rigging activities and equipment inspections
