SCAFFOLDING FOREMAN

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in scaffolding or related field
• Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or similar fields
• Knowledge in scaffold design basics and load management
• Capable of supervising multiple scaffold crews
• Strong understanding of site safety standards and procedures
• Ability to read scaffold drawings and interpret technical instructions

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise scaffolding crews in the installation, modification, and dismantling of scaffolds
• Plan and coordinate scaffold work activities to meet project schedules
• Ensure scaffold structures are built according to design specifications and site requirements
• Monitor and manage scaffold load capacity and safe working loads
• Conduct regular inspections and safety checks on scaffolds
• Identify and address hazards, and implement corrective actions immediately
• Coordinate with project supervisors, safety officers, and other trades
• Maintain accurate records of scaffold inspections, materials, and manpower
• Ensure compliance with site safety standards and company policies
• Provide guidance and training to scaffold teams
