GOPC is seeking a QC Welding – Piping professional to ensure welding quality and compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. The role involves inspection, testing, and documentation of welding activities in piping fabrication and erection processes.

QC Welding – Piping

Qualifications:

• Age preferred by client: up to 52 years old (maximum)
• Proven experience in QC welding for piping fabrication
• Knowledge of welding codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ISO, etc.)
• Familiarity with welding inspection tools and NDT methods
• Strong understanding of welding procedures and documentation
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work in fabrication and site environments
• Willingness to work in Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Responsibilities:

• Inspect welding activities in piping fabrication and erection
• Verify compliance with welding procedures, codes, and specifications
• Conduct visual inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) checks
• Ensure welders are qualified and weld procedures are approved
• Monitor welding quality, joint preparation, and fit-up
• Review welding documentation, including WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications
• Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions
• Coordinate with QA/QC team, fabrication, and site supervisors
• Maintain accurate inspection reports and records
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
