Australian Skilled Migration is seeking an experienced Sheep Farmer to manage and support daily sheep farming operations in Australia. The role involves animal husbandry, farm maintenance, and ensuring productivity, animal welfare, and compliance with agricultural standards.

SHEEP FARMER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sheep farming or related livestock work
  • At least 1-year Transcript of Records (TOR) from College or a Vocational course
  • Strong knowledge of sheep husbandry and farm operations
  • Physically fit and able to work in outdoor and rural environments
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work in Australia

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily sheep farming activities including feeding, breeding, and health monitoring
  • Perform shearing, lambing, marking, and general animal care duties
  • Monitor animal health and coordinate treatment or veterinary care as needed
  • Maintain farm facilities, fencing, and equipment
  • Operate farm machinery and tools safely
  • Keep records related to livestock, breeding, and production
  • Ensure animal welfare and biosecurity standards are followed
  • Assist with pasture management and farm cleanliness
  • Comply with workplace safety and environmental regulations
