CIVIL QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and local construction practices.
• Proficient in MS Excel and quantity surveying software.
• Good understanding of construction contracts and cost control procedures.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for building and civil works.
• Conduct quantity take-offs based on approved drawings and specifications (architectural and structural only).
• Monitor project costs, variations, and changes during construction.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparative cost analyses.
• Prepare progress claims, interim valuations, and final accounts.
• Handle variation orders, cost adjustments, and claims related to building works.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Architects on cost-related matters.
• Maintain proper documentation for contracts, payments, and variations.
