Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience as an Optometrist
- Must be a Professional License holder (Passed Board/Professional License Examination)
- Proficiency in conducting thorough vision tests and ocular assessments using specialized diagnostic equipment
- Strong knowledge of eye health, vision correction, and patient care
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments using specialized optometric equipment
- Identify and diagnose vision defects, eye diseases, and injuries, including cataracts, glaucoma, and refractive errors
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, medications, and vision therapy as appropriate
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative eye care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
- Manage and monitor chronic eye conditions through ongoing treatment and follow-up
- Offer low-vision rehabilitation services and patient counseling to enhance quality of life
- Educate patients on proper eye care, treatment plans, and preventive measures
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals for advanced or specialized care
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with hospital policies and clinical standards
