Instrument Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Instrument Technician in oil & gas or petrochemical plants
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, calibration procedures, and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to collaborate easily with co-workers and work independently
• Familiarity with safety standards, work permits, and preventive maintenance practices
• Good problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Install, calibrate, and maintain process instrumentation and control systems
• Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation issues, including transmitters, sensors, and control devices
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on instruments
• Follow site safety procedures, work permits, and operational protocols
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and operators for proper instrumentation operation
• Maintain accurate records of calibration, maintenance, and repairs
• Identify and report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
