Conveyor Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Conveyor Technician in oil & gas or petrochemical plants
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical components of conveyor systems
• Ability to collaborate easily with co-workers and work independently
• Familiarity with safety regulations, work permits, and preventive maintenance practices
• Good problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair conveyor systems, including belts, motors, pulleys, and rollers
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in conveyor systems
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation
• Follow site safety procedures, work permits, and operational guidelines
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and operators to ensure uninterrupted material flow
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and operational performance
• Identify and report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly
• Work independently while supporting the team and overall site operations
