Assistant In Nursing – Enrolled Nurse Trainee
Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS Nursing
- PRC license NOT required
- Experience in care setting desirable (e.g. Private Duty Nurse, Nursing Aide, Nursing Assistant, Caregiver)
- Valid English test (IELTS Academic – minimum 7.0 in all components/ OET – minimum of B in each component/ PTE Academic – minimum of 65 in each component/ TOEFL – minimum total score of 94; listening – 24, reading – 24, writing – 27, speaking – 23)
- With valid passport
- Must be willing to undergo paid occupation-based training for 2-3 years to obtain Qualifications as an Enrolled Nurse in Australia
- With effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Has the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Has the ability to provide person-centered care
- Has the ability to maintain confidentiality
Responsibilities:
- Assist nurses/midwives in routine tasks with patients/clients associated with the activities of daily living.
- Performs a range of duties that require basic skills, knowledge, training and experience.
- Routine technical support functions at the level of setting up for nursing procedures, cleaning equipment, and managing local stock levels.
- Provide person-centered care.
- Contributing to the maintenance of a physically and culturally safe environment for patients/clients and staff.
- Participation in quality improvement activities through recording and reporting of data.
- Follows established guidelines, protocols, procedure, standards, and systems of work as set out by the organization.
- Undertake nursing/midwifery care and procedures that assist them in their learning capacity to develop the competencies required to achieve the qualification in which they are enrolled (within the defined organizational scope of an AIN/M)
- Contributes to evaluative research activities through recording and reporting of data
Who Can Apply?
- Filipino nationals with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- PRC License is NOT required
- Must have valid English language certificate (IELTS/ PTE/ OET or equivalent)
- Experience in the care setting is desirable (e.g. Caregiver, Nursing Assistant, Nursing Aide, Private Duty Nurse)
- Preferably with driver’s license
- Committed to professional development and international healthcare experience
- Willing to work and live in a regional area
