Chemistry Teacher

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Science Education, or a related field.
• Advanced degrees are preferred for secondary levels.
• Proficiency in chemical concepts, laboratory techniques, and safety protocols.
• Ability to design engaging, inquiry-based lessons that stimulate student interest and understanding.
• Strong organizational skills to manage laboratory activities and assessments effectively.
• Competence in using technology for instruction and assessment, including virtual labs where applicable.
• A valid teaching license or certification is required.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures on chemistry topics such as chemical compounds, atomic structure, chemical reactions, and the periodic table
• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that cover the curriculum and adhere to educational standards
• Maintain accurate and complete records of student academic progress and attendance
• Modify teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests
