CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-year relevant work experience in nursing or patient care.
  • Must hold a Vocational Diploma, Short Course Certificate, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field.
  • Open to candidates with or without a PRC license. IELTS not required (optional).
  • At least 6 months of clinical experience as a nurse, nursing assistant, or nursing aide.
  • Currently employed in bedside care at a secondary or tertiary hospital with 100+ beds.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
  • Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure)
  • Help patients with mobility and transfers (bed, wheelchair, walker)
  • Turn or reposition bedridden patients to prevent bedsores
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient health or behavior to nursing staff
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Assist with basic medical procedures under nurse supervision
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
  • Keep patient rooms clean and organized
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times
