Furniture Carpenter

Qualifications

• Male applicants are preferred in this tole
• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Technical Certificate or TESDA Certificate required

Responsibilities:

• Design and create custom furniture pieces based on client specifications and design concepts.
• Operate hand tools and power tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and lathes safely and efficiently.
• Assemble and join wood and other materials to create structures, including furniture, cabinets, and custom fittings.
• Fit, install, and secure furniture, fixtures, and hardware, ensuring proper alignment and finish.
• Inspect existing furniture for damage and perform repairs or restorations to bring pieces back to good condition.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to understand design plans.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure all finished furniture meets industry standards and client expectations.
• Maintain and care for tools, machinery, and the work area to ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment.

Requirements:

• Must have valid passport
• Detailed RESUME
• Certificate of Employment ( if available)
