Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Candidates must speak and understand English

Responsibilities:

• Proficient in construction, repair, and maintenance of wooden, composite, and fiberglass vessels
• Skilled in interpreting and working from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Experienced in lofting, pattern-making, and precise cutting, shaping, and joining of timbers
• Competent in installation and repair of marine structures, bulkheads, decking, and cabinetry
• Knowledge of modern boatbuilding techniques, adhesives, resins, and lamination processes
• Skilled in fitting out interiors including joinery, cabinetry, and fine finishing work
• Proficient in the use of traditional hand tools as well as modern power tools and machinery
• Ability to perform hull repairs, modifications, and refits to meet safety and design standards
• Familiar with marine coatings, varnishing, painting, and surface preparation for longevity
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance with maritime standards
• Skilled in problem-solving and fault diagnosis in structural and aesthetic issues
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in workshop or dockyard environments
• The ability to meet deadlines and client requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship with a focus on quality finishes
