Q.C. Engineer – Electrical

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles for electrical systems, preferably in industrial or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of international standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, IEEE).
  • Familiarity with electrical testing tools and procedures.
  • Certification in QA/QC or ISO standards is an advantage
  • Multilingual communication skills (especially in English)

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and contract requirements.
  • Review electrical drawings, specifications, and method statements to ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on electrical installations, equipment, and materials to verify conformity with approved plans and standards.
  • Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to quality procedures and safety regulations.
  • Identify and report non-conformities; initiate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and quality record
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers regarding quality-related issues.
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings
  • Provide technical support and training to site teams on quality standards and best practices.
  • Generate periodic quality reports for management review.
