Shift Coordinator

Qualifications:

• Must be Bachelors of science in nursing or Masters degree in nursing
• Experience in hospitality administration
• Must have a training in area of specialty
• At least 5 years of experience in specialized field with no substantiated findings of abuse, fraud, neglect or misappropriation of property.
• Appropriate knowledge and experience in specialized field of employment.
• Managerial and supervisory experience.
• Must have medical or nursing background preferably.
• Strong leadership skills and management.
• Flexible attitude and ability to help out
• Must have a knowledge in software systems and technology, including all office applications, web-based tools such as web-based email, search engines, social media, and messaging.
• Must be fluent in oral and written in english. arabic is advantage

Responsibilities:

• Daily report with director of nursing, Dept of supervisors, In-charges, Dept Heads, patients and patients’ family members, physician and other health care team personnel involved in care of the patient.
• Acts on behalf of chief executive officer, hospital director, medical director and nursing director out of hours decision making and escalading s or concerns where applicable
• Works collaboratively with the nursing supervisors, charge nurses and Dept heads in regards to staff and patient flow, noting that this position assumes responsibilities for patient flow management when the shift supervisor are not in duty.
• Provides overall supervision and direction for the total management of the entire hospital after hour
• Monitors staff on duty and utilize them to the other departments that staffing requires.
• Directs, organizes, and coordinates for 24 hours operational of the hospital.
