RIGGING SUPERINTENDENT

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, plan, and coordinate rigging and lifting activities for refinery construction, maintenance, and turnaround projects.
• Review and interpret lifting plans, engineering drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
• Ensure all rigging operations comply with safety regulations, refinery HSE policies, and industry standards (ASME B30, API, OSHA, LOLER).
• Inspect rigging equipment (slings, shackles, spreader bars, lifting beams) for certification and safe use.
• Lead and manage rigging teams, subcontractors, and crane operators to achieve project milestones.
• Oversee execution of heavy lifts, ensuring proper crane selection, load calculations, and ground stability assessments.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop lift plans and resolve technical issues.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks to reinforce safety culture.
• Maintain detailed documentation of rigging activities, inspections, and incident reports.
• Provide training, guidance, and mentoring to rigging crews and lifting personnel.
