FOREMAN / CHARGEHAND (SCAFFOLDING)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate scaffolding crews in the erection, alteration, and dismantling of scaffolds. Review scaffolding drawings, designs, and work instructions to plan daily tasks.
• Ensure all scaffolds are erected and tagged in compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.
• Inspect scaffolding materials, equipment, and structures for damage, wear, or defects.
• Allocate manpower, tools, and materials efficiently to achieve productivity targets.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure all scaffolders understand risk assessments and method statements.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and HSE personnel for safe scaffolding operations.
• Maintain records of scaffolding inspections, work permits, and scaffold tags.
• Ensure scaffolding areas are barricaded, signposted, and safe for workers.
• Mentor and guide scaffolders to improve workmanship and safety awareness.
