MACHINE SETTER / TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• With at least 3 years of work with Machining and Machine Maintenance experience
• TESDA NCII Certificate or Trade Test Certificate in Machining.
• Should be knowledgeable in the technical setup of numerous machines in the area (Mondini-Proseal-OCM slivers – Digi Check Weighers – Skanem Metal Detectors, dusters, etc.)
• Must be able to ensure traceability readings of raw materials have been completed and meet site standards in live time.
• Must be able to keep and maintain records of traceability to be in line with site procedures at all times.
• Must be able to record all checks and readings on time and meet site procedures.
• Must be able to perform calculations for machinery set-up, which are in line with site procedures.
• Must be competent in the examination of the operation of mechanical equipment and make appropriate adjustments to enhance machine performance.
• Must be flexible to work in different environments, including workshops
• Must be able to follow Manufacturing & Health & Safety Instruction
• Excellent English communication skills is a must.
• Newly renewed passport

Responsibilities:

• Ensure time scale of readings and checks being completed meet site procedures
• Under the guidance of managers and charge hands, ensure that each product specification is followed, and any anomalies are reported immediately.
• To detect and report any equipment defects immediately to maintain efficient operation of systems and equipment.
• To ensure that any production targets are met; or if this is not possible, shortfalls are reported to the relevant person in a timely manner.
• To fit/assemble machinery parts to fine tolerances on the production line mechanical equipment
• Provide service support to production mechanical machinery.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary is 𝗣𝗵𝗽 𝟮𝟰𝟲,𝟬𝟬𝟬.𝟬𝟬 gross monthly more or less.
• Forty-Four (44) Work Hours per week.
• Three (3) years contract, renewable.
