Supply & Distribution Manager

Qualifications:

  • BSc/BA in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field.
  • Proven experience as distribution manager or similar managerial role.
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory goods that arrive from manufacturing and supplies.
  • Planning and managing logistics warehouse transportation and customer service in the distribution center
  • Directing optimizing and coordinating full order cycle
  • Liaising and negotiating with supplier, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
  • Keeping track of quality, stock levels delivery times transport cost and efficiency
  • Arranging warehouse, catalog goods plant routes and process shipment
  • Resolving any arising problems or complaint related to distribution
  • Supervising coaching and training warehouse workforce

PIH is the only hospital in PNG with advanced services like Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, Endoscopy Suite and a Minimal Invasive Surgery Suite for Laparoscopic, Cryotherapy, Arthroscopic and Endoscopic facilities including LASER Lithotripsy. PIH is one of the few hospitals in the country equipped with comprehensive Imaging Suite include Digital X-ray, MRI, CT scan, Ultrasound and Mammography , and equipment like 64 Slice CT Angio and state of the art 1.5 Tesla MRI machines.
