Radiology Nurse

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in nursing, preferably a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Obtain an RN license
• At least two years of nursing experience , preferable in radiology
• Ability to work in a high- stress environment with multiple patients
• Experience with radiology equipment and procedures, including MRI, CT scan, and X-ray imaging
• Knowledge of radiation safety procedures

Responsibilities:

• Adhering to all radiation safely measures
• Ensuring radiology equipment is properly maintained and functioning
• Preparing patients for procedures 2) starting intravenous fluids to inject special dyes or contrast mediums into patients
• Administrating barium enemas or solution before procedures
• Monitoring patients vital sign or their status during procedures to identify changes
• Identifying unexpected reactions in patients during procedures
