Sheet Metal Worker

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Sheet Metal Worker / Sheet Metal Fabricator
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Skilled in welding and fabricating sheet metal components, including stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized iron, mild steel, and copper
  • Proficient in welding using GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) on sheet metal components
  • Experienced in cutting components using power shears, laser cutters, plasma cutters, guillotines, and drills
  • Skilled in shaping and forming components using bending machines, rollers, and presses
  • Capable of fitting and assembling components through welding, riveting, soldering, and brazing
  • Must be either IELTS exempt or an IELTS passer
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements
  • Measure, cut (shearing, plasma, laser), and shape sheet metal components with high accuracy
  • Operate bending machines, rollers, presses, and hand tools to form metal parts
  • Perform welding (GTAW, GMAW), riveting, soldering, and brazing for fabrication and assembly
  • Finish fabricated components using filing, grinding, polishing, and related processes
