PLANNING ENGINEER

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants are preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation for refinery operations, maintenance, and capital projects.
  • Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure timely execution of work.
  • Prepare job plans, cost estimates, material lists, and resource requirements.
  • Monitor progress of projects and turnaround activities, identifying and mitigating potential delays or risks.
  • Assist in planning preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Support procurement and logistics by preparing material and equipment requisitions based on project plans.
  • Conduct regular planning meetings and provide accurate progress reports to management.
  • Use project management and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) to track and optimize workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and refinery operational standards.
  • Provide input for budgeting, forecasting, and performance improvement initiatives.
