PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (LSAW LINE PIPE MANUFACTURE)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a steel manufacturing plant, preferably in Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welding (LSAW) Line pipe production
• Strong knowledge of steel pipe production processes, welding techniques, and troubleshooting procedures
• Experience in operating and managing heavy machinery used in pipe manufacturing.
• Familiarity with API, ASTM, and ASME standards is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
• Proficiency in using production planning and ERP software.
• Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus).

Responsibilities:

• To oversee the manufacturing operations in our Production Supervisor – Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welding (LSAW) line Pipe Manufacturer
• Responsible for managing daily production activities, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.
• The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in forming, finishing and welding, and experience in pipe manufacturing/similar industry.
• Supervise and coordinate production activities to ensure efficiency and quality standards.
• Monitor daily operations and production schedules to meet targets and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Lead and train production shop floor employees to improve performance and maintain a high level of productivity
• Troubleshoot machinery, production, and quality issues, coordinating with maintenance teams when necessary
• Optimize production processes to minimize waste and improve cost efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, particularly in line pipe manufacturing (API, ASTM, ASME, etc.).
• Maintain accurate production reports and documentation
• Work closely with quality control, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations
• Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance plant efficiency and output
