COMMI 1 CHEF (PASTRY & BAKERY)

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Commi or a similar role in a high-end dining establishment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidate must have premium dining experience.
  • A degree or diploma in culinary arts or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to the required standard.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and served at the correct temperature.
  • Manage and maintain kitchen equipment and ensure that it is kept clean and in good working order.
  • Monitor and control food waste and kitchen expenses.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines and food hygiene regulations.
  • Assist with the creation of new menu items and specials.
  • Train and mentor junior members of the kitchen team.
  • Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure that guests receive a high-quality dining experience.
