Stitching / Perfect Binding Operator

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Bindery Operator or in a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with bindery equipment and processes, including cutting, folding, stitching, and binding.
• Knowledge of different types of paper, binding techniques, and finishing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Proficiency in using computer software and systems related to bindery operations
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed to meet production demands.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Must have profound experience on Muller Martini Gatherer Stitcher and Horizon Perfect Binding Machines
• Knowledge of binder operation and maintenance
• Ability to use and maintain binder equipment
• Ability to read and understand technical instructions
• Good organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to work quickly and accurately
