Senior Offset Printer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a Printing Machine Operator or similar role.
• Certification or vocational training in printing technology is preferred
• Familiarity with printing software and applications, such as Adobe Creative Suite or RIP software.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate printing software and digital printing equipment.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and operate printing machinery.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines related to printing equipment operation.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights and weekends, depending on production schedules
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality printed materials.
• Must have experience on Komori Printing machines

Responsibilities

• Loading printing plates onto the press, loading printing plates onto the press, adjusting paper feed and size settings, setting ink levels and color profiles and Aligning printing plates for accurate registration
• Monitoring the printing process, ensuring consistent quality
• Making adjustments to ink flow, pressure, and speed as needed.
• Inspecting printed sheets for defects like misregistration, color variations, and ink smudges
• Performing quality control checks to meet established standards
• Cleaning and lubricating printing press components
• Identifying and reporting any mechanical issues to maintenance personnel
• Performing routine maintenance tasks according to manufacturer guidelines.
