ENGINEER PRODUCTION (PETROCHEMICAL INDUSTRY)

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience
  • Degree or Diploma combined with relevant experience
  • This is an entry level professional role for a recent Process Engineering graduate.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists and supports a range of tasks under supervision and guidance.
  • Uses specialized technical equipment/systems, or analysis software.
  • Has basic understanding of engineering and design codes and standards of operations that are applied to achieve technical reliability and integrity objectives and maintain consistency
  • Complies with all relevant HSE standards and seeks to ensure a healthy, safe work environment and working practices at all times
  • Reviews basic Process designs with relevant stakeholders for accuracy and conformance to procedures, working under supervision
  • Supports the plant and relevant equipment; recommends necessary engineering or maintenance interventions to improve performance.
  • Assists with troubleshooting of unit problems in their area of responsibility supporting specialists and more senior engineers.
  • Monitors and reports on daily tasks and assignments and routinely updates records in-line with established procedures.
  • Observes engineering processes and practices to develop understanding of required procedures and standards in the Company
