MECHANICAL FITTER/TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Must have a valid driving license Non-Professional (4 Wheels)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assembling and tack-welding the sub-parts (shells, heads, nozzles, clips, trunnions, skirts, saddles,…) into the complete vessel, according to construction drawings.
• Can do flame cutting of holes in the vessels, assembly of nozzles, clips & circumferential seams of cylinders
• Testing for closing of blind flanges of vessels, can handle & manipulate of large pieces with overhead cranes
• Can read & understand construction drawings & ability to work in overhead cranes, forklift & boom lift
• Basic welding skills for MIG/MAG for tacking of assembled pieces
