Supervisor – Technical Maintenance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in oil and gas industries in the related position.
• Must have good knowledge of equipment maintenance drawings and repair procedures.
• GCC experiences preferred.
• Proficiency in computer applications and ERP systems.
• Must have extensive knowledge of equipment maintenance drawings, and site repair procedures of all electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Must be strong in hydraulic and electrical trouble shooting that includes reading hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Must have wide knowledge / experience in troubleshooting the following cranes Liebherr Or DEMAG or GROVE, Tadano.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment, including engines, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Manage maintenance and repair tasks across multiple Asset Management Workshops and Industrial Area.
• Ensure efficient and effective completion of work orders by reviewing and approving system- generated requests.
• Lead a team of mechanics, technicians, and maintenance staff, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring performance.
• Train and mentor staff to enhance skills in heavy equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective methodologies.
• Control costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
• Set repair priorities in coordination with mechanics, considering manpower and parts availability.
• Conduct inspections, diagnose faults, and recommend necessary repairs.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs, ensuring adherence to maintenance schedules.
• Prepare quotations and final costs for all repair works and report discrepancies on parts and machineries.
• Maintain comprehensive maintenance history/records, including failure causes, resources used, and spare parts consumed.
• Approve major overhauls, authorize maintenance initiatives, and provide input on equipment lifecycle decisions.
• Review and approve work orders, job cards, and associated paperwork (parts, estimates, invoices, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, proper storage of hazardous materials, and promote a zero-LTI goal.
• Remain available for off-hours technical assistance and emergency response.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Department Manager.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
