Lead Painter

Qualifications:

• Must be Post Secondary or Vocational Education
• Must be able to communicate effectively with Co-workers.
• Must maintain cooperative working relationships
• Know how to operate and use required tools and equipment skillfully and safely
• Must be able to teach the proper set-up, clean-up, and use of basic paint sprayers.
• Must be proficient in advanced surface prep & patching techniques.
• Must be proficient in texture tools & techniques, matching and blending to the adjacent field.

Responsibilities:

• Paint walls, buildings and other structural surfaces.
• Order materials required for the job.
• May remove oil paint and prepare surface prior to painting.
• Using brushes rollers and spray gun.
• Maintain tools in safe and good working order.
• Ensure that work area is always clean
• Other duties as defined by Production Leadman
