FOREMAN PAINTER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• Proven experience as a Painting Foreman or similar role in shipyards.
• Extensive knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of painting crew.
• Plan and schedule painting projects to ensure timely completion.
• Inspect surfaces to determine the type and amount of work required.
• Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Prepare and submit reports on project progress and any issues encountered.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
• Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on project status.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure that all work meets the required standards.
• Provide hands-on support and assistance to painting crews as needed.
• Attend project meetings and provide input on project planning and execution.
