FOREMAN PAINTER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years work experience
- Proven experience as a Painting Foreman or similar role in shipyards.
- Extensive knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of painting crew.
- Plan and schedule painting projects to ensure timely completion.
- Inspect surfaces to determine the type and amount of work required.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Prepare and submit reports on project progress and any issues encountered.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
- Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on project status.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure that all work meets the required standards.
- Provide hands-on support and assistance to painting crews as needed.
- Attend project meetings and provide input on project planning and execution.
