HVAC TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Male applicants
• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• Good English communication skills
• High diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Certificate in HVAC, building, maintenance technology, or a relevant field is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Package Unit, work independently with minimal supervision, the licensed driver preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
• Ability to use power and hand tools.
• Ability to use thermometers, pressure gauges, and other testing devices to evaluate HVAC system.
• Ability to read operation and repair manuals for HVAC systems.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, repair, modify and install HVAC equipment including but not limited such as refrigeration and air conditioning.
• Performs routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate properly.
• In charge of compressors, condensers, and expansion valves.
• Perform skilled electrical maintenance work in the repair, installation and alteration of HVAC equipment, components, timers, motors, and wiring systems, as needed, connect motors to control panels.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, welder torch, vacuum pump and equipment in effective and safe working condition maintain parts and tool inventory.
• Repair or replace defective parts in units and equipment and their controls including but not limited such as thermostats, automatic switches, fan controls, log switches, damper motors, relays, filters, controls, belts, compressors, heat exchanger
• Install, replace or repair fans, motors, thermostats, filters, valves, and other equipment as necessary.
• Install copper tubing and repair pipes and tubing as necessary, and test joints and insulate pipes of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Lubricate and pack heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and air conditioning motors, fans, and other equipment.
• Diagnose well and resolve the problem accordingly.
• Collaborate with Plumbing, Electrical, and other departments.
• Writing HVAC maintenance reports
• Adhering to safety and performance standards
• Performs related duties as assigned.
